Celebrate Excellence
Congratulations to 1988 Carthage HS Alumni and Mansfield Timberview High School’s (Arlington, Texas) Kit Kyle Martin for winning the 2019 Wilson Sporting Goods/WBCA High School National Coach of the Year.  

Congratulations to our HS Track Teams.  The boys won the District Championship and the girls won 3rd place.  Below is a list individual district champions.

In the April 15 board meeting, the CISD Board of Trustees met on the following agenda items:

• Heard the CISD Education Foundation Check Presentation
• Approved Mission, Vision, Goals and Board Priorities for CISD
• Reviewed the AYEP Summer School Enrichment Program
• Adopted the Order of Cancellation of Unopposed Candidates & Consider Unopposed Candidates Elected to Office
• Approved the Board Training Hours Report - All have received their hours.
• Reviewed the Summer Maintenance Calendar
• Approved additional Special Education Personnel for Panola County Shared Services Agreement
• Considered and approved the Sodexo Food Service Contract Renewal
• Approved Probationary Teacher Contracts
• Approved recommendation for Assistant Principal at Libby Elementary, Lee Berry
