Celebrate a 2020 Senior

On April 17, Governor Abbott declared the 2020 school year over, and while this is difficult for many, it is really difficult for our seniors.  Seniors have missed so many 'last time traditions' since spring break, and they will continue to miss more traditions as we move to the end of the school year.

We will have a graduation, and we will have some other special traditions for this great senior class, but with COVID 19 we have no idea when they will be and no control over how they will be carried out.

So I propose that we have control over how we celebrate our seniors.  There are 182 seniors that deserve a huge party for their accomplishments, but since we can't have a party, let's shower them with our love, our congratulations, and our best wishes with a new tradition called Celebrate a Senior.

To be a part of this tradition, all you do is fill out the form and you will be assigned a senior.  You can celebrate them in the following ways:

  • write them a card,
  • buy them a gift or gift card from a local business,
  • or make them a special gift.
The point behind this initiative is simple.  Our seniors deserve to know they haven't been forgotten.  Let's show every one of them that they matter and that we will wish them a bright and prosperous future.
